That Time I thought 'National Mall' meant a large shopping mall...
My step-dad came in to D.C. for a work conference and on his off day, we went venturing around the national mall. Yes, at one point in my life I thought that the 'national mall' meant a huge shopping mall made up of all the stores in the nation. In my defense, this happened when I was like nine years old. Eleven years later, I came back to the national mall with more wisdom and appreciated all the historic sights. The sunny weather really accentuated the beauty of DC
triple b fresh: a korean version of chipotle
For a late lunch, we went to a place called Triple B Fresh, a fast casual Korean restaurant in Dupont Circle. The style is similar to Chipotle's such that you can pick all the ingredients that go into your Bimbimbap bowl. They then heat up the stone bowl and serve it to you. Since we were cold from walking outside all day, this hot stone bowl really hit the spot. There were lots of options to choose from and you won't have to feel guilty for finishing the entire thing because all the ingredients were all healthy -or at least thats how I justified it when my entire bowl was licked clean.
